Remember: If they have sex, it's not about sex. So what is it about? Is Miss Saeki his mother? Then Oedipus. Consumed by fate? can't escape? Not free? Don't want to be free? If you're free, are you alone? People prefer to not be free?
This book is like life. It makes me ask so many questions but I don't get a lot of answers. I just don't understand it too well.

It's interesting how Miss Saeki wrote a book about people being struck by lightning and how Nakata can predict it. Are these things related? I mean... do they mean something?
Flow of water. Powerful. "Make up for lost time in order to keep on living." Is Kafka on the Shore (Old Kafka) Kafka Tamura's other half?
Shore and Crow. Lover and her son?
It's no longer first person. Kafka is talking about himself, yet he is someone else. Is it Kafka on the Shore or Kafka Tamura having sex with Miss Saeki? Or both?
